Congratulations

Congratulations to Hannah & Leah our trainee dental nurses, who both completed their practical training & exams earlier this year. We are delighted to congratulate them on passing their exams & registering with the General Dental Council as qualified dental nurses. We wish them every success in their careers with us.
Long Service

We would like to Congratulate & thank Lucy for her long service of 21 years in January this year, an amazing achievement.
Staff Changes
1st April 2023
At the end of March we said goodbye to our receptionist, Sharon Phelpotts after 20 years of service. We thank her very much for her long service & wish her a happy & well earned retirement. We will miss her very much and we know our patients will too. As she leaves we welcome Katie Whittle, a qualified dental nurse & we wish our Trainee Dental nurses Hannah Price & Leah Sallis good luck in their upcoming exams.
CQC INSPECTION
February 2023
We were visited by the Care Quality Commission for an inspection on 13th February 2023 and were very happy with their report, if you would like to read the report you can view the results of our recent CQC inspection here.
Welcoming two new team members
24th February 2020
In the last 18 months we have welcomed two new team members, Alex & Irina have settled in well with the help of Lucy & Sharon who have now been with the practice for 18 & 17 years respectively. We are lucky to have such a great team.
Mark completed his studies at the University of Oxford
20th February 2020
Last August Mark completed his studies at the University of Oxford & was awarded an MSc in Evidence based healthcare. He is now working towards his PhD with the Peninsular Dental School at the University of Plymouth.
Mark completed the Straumann charity bike ride
September 2018
Mark completed the Straumann charity bike ride from Lake Garda to Rome in aid of the Mouth Cancer Foundation , raising over £2000. Many thanks to all our patients who supported him.
Congratulations & thanks to Lucy for her long service

In January we celebrated with Lucy her 15 years service with us. The whole practice enjoyed a celebratory meal which was a complete surprise for Lucy.

Mark returns to study
29th September 2016
Mark has returned to studying after successfully gaining a place to read an MSc in Evidence-Based Healthcare at the University of Oxford, Kellogg College. He will study part time around his practice commitments.

Earlier this year Tracy left the practice to pursue a new career & we welcomed Sue to our team. Sue has been a dental nurse since 1989 and comes with great experience and has settled in to the practice as if she has always been here.

We have said farewell to two of our dental nurses, Charlotte who has gone to university to study podiatry & Rachel has moved to Northern Ireland to get married in the summer. We wish them both every success. Our newest mmber of staff is Caitlin who is a fully qualified dental nurse. She joined the practice in October has settled in very well and is getting to know our patients.
Antibiotic Guardian
26th November 2015
Mark and Clare recently attended a local British Dental Association meeting where Anwen Cope, Postdoctoral Clinical Research Fellow, gave a talk about the use of antibiotics in dental care. It was a very interesting talk and highlighted the fact that antibiotic resistance is potentially one of the biggest threats facing us in the future and Is something that both health professionals and our patients need to be aware of. Anwen told us about the Antibiotic Guardian Pledge and we would encourage everyone to take a look at the website where we can all pledge to take responsibility for our use of antibiotics.

Prince Henry's High School Evesham careers evening
18th November 2015
Clare and Caitlin manned a stand at the Prince Henry's High School Evesham careers evening. We talked to pupils and parents about careers in dentistry, it was a busy evening and we hope that we encouraged pupils to consider the range of careers available.
Lucy returns to work and Charlotte passes her dental nursing exam!

In January this year we welcomed Lucy, our most experienced dental nurse back to work after the birth of her second child. Charlotte our newest staff member has worked hard at her dental nursing course passing the exam first time in November and has now completed her portfolio of work for assessment, so hopes to qualify very soon.
